Visit with ‘Grandma Gloria’ as she reflects on her life- from her humble beginnings in Puerto Rico to the journey of her life in San Francisco. A touching tale weaved with memories, mystery and magic, this exploration of ancestry is inspired by Carla’s late grandmother, and honors the creativity and courage in all women.

Shyamala directed the first rendition of the show in 2012 and has been working with Carla to update the show to reflect pandemic times. The show includes Carla’s delightful performance of “Grandma Gloria” live on zoom, blended seamlessly with live video edited by Shyamala.

Note: the performance link is available to view for one week after the date you choose. “Grandma’s Hands” runs 35 min and is the second show each night. First piece is 45-50min.
